Purpose Statement:
The E Ola! Curriculum Guide provides kumu with guidance when selecting themes/units that are required to be presented to the keiki of Kamehameha Schools Preschools. The themes/units should scaffold over the course of two years. Christian Education and Values should be integrated in all themes/units. The fundamental outcomes describe what every keiki should know and be able to do as a result of teaching a theme/unit. The overarching understanding and essential questions describe what every keiki should know at the exit of the program. This guide is a supporting document designed to be used to complete the annual curriculum plan, unit and lesson plans.
