Kamehameha Schools Preschools

Kamehameha Schools Preschools (KSP) provides a holistic preschool program that fosters learning environments and engaging collaborative communities.  In order to fulfill this kuleana, our curriculum foundation promotes Hawaiian and Christian values, while always honoring its founder and benefactress, Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop. Through Hawaiian culture-based education we offer learning experiences in an environment that is safe, enriching and enjoyable. We offer a wide variety of tools to help kumu succeed in their daily instruction and interactions with keiki. By connecting our keiki to their culture and language, we lay a foundation for future success.

Christian Values

Aloha Ke Akua

Kamehameha Schools’ Preschools is composed of a dynamic team of dedicated kumu and staff who demonstrate attitudes and behaviors consistent with Christian and Hawaiian values.

KSP defines 'Ohana Engagement as a Native Hawaiian,
strengths-based partnership to maximize keiki growth and nurture a strong foundation for future success.

MTSS is a whole child approach to support the academic, behavioral, social and emotional needs of our keiki. The process moves from the simplest kumu-keiki support and interventions to more complex supports coordinated through a Student Success Team (SST), which is a multi-disciplinary team, led by the Hope Poʻo Kumu.
