Hoʻomohala ʻOihana

Lead Kumu

E kuhikuhi pono i nā au iki a me nā au nui o ka ʻike.

Instruct well in the little and the large currents of knowledge.

In teaching, do it well; the small details are as important as the large ones.  #325

The E Ola! Educator Competencies are grounded in Kūlia i ka nuʻu (strive to reach the highest). The E Ola! Educator Competencies define the knowledge, skills and behaviors that are needed to provide the educational foundation to build ʻōiwi leaders.

KSP Five Program Components
Our preschool program has five components. Each component has essential practices that help to guide our decisions about teaching and instruction. The components and essential practices are culturally and developmentally appropriate and align with Hawaiʻi Department of Human Services preschool licensing and NAEYC program standards.

MTSS is a whole child approach to support the academic, behavioral, social and emotional needs of our keiki. The process moves from the simplest kumu-keiki support and interventions to more complex supports coordinated through a Student Success Team (SST), which is a multi-disciplinary team, led by the Hope Poʻo Kumu.
