Nā Kula ʻO Kamehameha
Nā Kula ʻO Kamehameha (NKOK) is an organization dedicated to achieving educational excellence through quality instruction and rigorous learning. Our commitment to high levels of achievement is reflected in our efforts to lead to world-class educational outcomes. We are also dedicated supporting the renewed cultural vibrancy of Hawaiʻi’s indigenous people and their lifelong success in the 21st century.
Code of Conduct
Kamehameha Schools is an Ali‘i trust, a Native Hawaiian school and organization, and home of the living legacy of Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Pāki Bishop. It is expected that every employee, will conduct themselves at all times as "good and industrious" stewards and models of her legacy, adhering to the highest standards of Hawaiian and Christian values, ethics, loyalty, and diligence. While not inclusive, the following illustrate three important examples of our expectations.

E Ola!
E Ola! refers to the desired learner outcomes we have identified for all Kamehameha Schools graduates. It is our KS identity and requires a shared understanding amongst all stakeholders. These outcomes contribute to the goal that haumāna will become local and global servant leaders who are culturally engaged and play significant roles in creating strong ʻohana and communities throughout ka pae ʻāina o Hawaiʻi and beyond.
The metaphor of a native Hawaiian forest conveys Kamehameha’s learner outcomes needed to achieve these goals. Students are likened to the array of plants thriving in fertile ‘āina—diverse individuals with unique talents nurtured by common experiences inherent in a Kamehameha School’s education.

Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop’s vision for Hawaiʻi’s future was grounded in Ke Akua.
To help carry those values forward, Kamehameha Schools has refreshed its Our Faith webpage, a digital space grounded in scripture, manaʻo and multimedia created by nā kahu to support our spiritual growth.
